A graduate of the University of Virginia, Kelley earned her Commerce degree with concentrations in Marketing and in Human Resources Management in 1996. Her graduate studies were in Organizational Development. Since then, she has worked in the buying office for Hecht’s Department Stores, in Human Resources in the IT industry and in the Healthcare industry. Since moving to Charlotte in 2002, Kelley has served in numerous volunteer roles in her community as well as on the Board of Advisors for the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance. Most recently, she has worked in the Financial Services industry as an Operations Manager, Marketing Director, Financial Professional Associate, and a registered Financial Advisor.
Kelley’s financial advisory practice centers on helping women and small business owners plan for all of life’s challenges and transitions. She seeks to help each client develop a financial strategy that leads to security and prosperity when dealing with some of life’s biggest transitions such as retirement, long term care planning, college planning, and divorce. Her work with small business owners covers protection strategies for their personal and business assets, growth strategies, group life insurance, disability insurance and health insurance plans, employee retirement plans, business valuations and buy/sell agreements.
Kelley has three children and a Labradoodle, and she loves to garden, camp, hike, and listen to live music. She is also a member of Sardis Presbyterian Church.
