After serving in the financial services industry for 7 years, Dean witnessed firsthand the shortcomings of traditional financial planning. During that time, Dean realized this approach to solving people’s financial problems wasn’t good enough, and felt that his clients deserved better. Creating a retirement plan based on the answer to the question, “What’s your number?” opens the door to numerous avenues of failure, due to changing market conditions, the prospect of future income tax increases and people living much longer than expected. Knowing this, Dean refuses to accept the conventional wisdom associated with traditional planning, and instead seeks to apply critical, forward thinking to each client’s unique set of goals and challenges.
Planning for the future has become much more than best case scenario retirement planning – it must be about life planning – for accumulation, retirement distribution, and legacy. A great plan should be stress-tested from every angle, to include the worst case scenario. When it comes to your future, failure is not an option.
Dean resides in the Southpark area, and enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing golf with his son Graham.
