Michael Harris

Michael Harris is Chief Operating Officer and a financial advisor with Consolidated Planning, Inc. As a member of the firm’s leadership team, Michael works across the organization to support the growth and development of Consolidated Planning and its 100+ financial advisors. His responsibilities include advisor development and coaching, recruiting, investments, underwriting, and other operational areas of the firm. 

A graduate of Stony Brook University, Michael earned a double major in Business Management and Economics. After several years working with a top-producing financial services firm in New York, Michael relocated to Charlotte and joined Consolidated Planning in 2013. 

Michael works with advisors and clients in the areas of accumulation, retirement, business, and estate planning. He has earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional® and Certified Exit Planner™ designations and holds Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 66 securities registrations, as well as Life and Health and Long-Term Care insurance licenses. 

A significant part of Michael’s role is helping advisors and advisor teams develop and strengthen their practices. He provides case consultation, training, and coaching and works with teams on practice development, organizational structure, accountability, and the application of EOS principles within their businesses. Michael also provides training and coaching to advisors and financial planning firms across the country. 

Michael and his wife, Olivia, live in South Charlotte with their daughters, Gemma and Sofia.
