Michael Dare

With nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Mike Dare brings a wealth of knowledge and a down-to-earth approach to his role as a financial advisor. Originally from Montgomery County, PA, outside Philadelphia, Mike pursued his education at Johnson and Wales in Charleston, SC, focusing on Hotel/Restaurant/Institutional Management.

Mike’s family was in the commercial construction business and owned a restaurant.  After working for a number of years in his family’s restaurant business, and witnessing some of the struggles that most business owners have to deal with, Mike decided to join with a financial planning firm that focused on helping people maximize and protect the value of owning closely held companies.

Mike and his team specialize in helping business owners align their employee benefit plans, key person retention strategies, and personal financial goals with their business exit strategy.

Outside of work, Mike has three teenagers, they can all usually be found on a local grappling mat, at the beach or somewhere near the water.
