Michael Acosta

Michael is a first-generation Colombian-American that was born and raised in Greenville, SC.  He was blessed with the opportunity to attend Wingate University in North Carolina on a four-year athletic scholarship for Lacrosse.  While attending Wingate Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Economics.  The day after graduating from Wingate in 2013 he left Greenville and moved to Charlotte, NC.  He spent his first 4 years out of college working in the Investment industry for a wealth management platform before transitioning into a role as a Financial Advisor.

Michael is passionate about helping others establish strong roots so that their legacy can withstand the tests of time for generations to come.  Through education and awareness he inspires families and businesses owners to plant the “seeds” today so that they can experience financial independence in the future!

Along with his wife, Blair, Michael enjoys raising their first child Emery and their pup Roxie.  In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time at the local parks running/walking/playing with his family, visiting their favorite breweries, competing in various road races or lacrosse games, and finding new hole-in-the-wall restaurants to try.  Michael is also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and is a parishioner of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
