Maria McSwain spent nearly a decade teaching in the school system before transitioning into the financial services field. Her time in education gave her invaluable experience in breaking down complex topics and making them accessible to others – a skill she now brings to her work at Consolidated Planning. Maria’s ability to communicate clearly and patiently has been a huge asset in her career, allowing her to build strong, trusting relationships with clients.
Maria’s mission is to empower clients by providing clear, actionable guidance, helping them make informed financial decisions that align with their long-term goals. What sets her apart is her unique background in education, which gives her a knack for explaining difficult concepts in a simple, straightforward way.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys spending time with her two daughters, going to concerts, and supporting the Carolina Panthers. She’s a big believer in finding balance between work and personal life and enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring new experiences.
