Kyle Hudson

Kyle was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, and carries with him the resourcefulness and grit that come from humble beginnings. After high school, he launched a landscaping company that he grew into a seven‑figure business employing more than 20 people. Following a successful exit through a sale to a private investor, Kyle expanded his impact as a consultant, guiding business owners in networking, operations, scaling, strategic planning, and team development. Though his career began outside the financial services world, he had long been a dedicated student of personal finance. When the opportunity arose to join Consolidated Planning, Kyle stepped confidently into the industry he had always wanted to call home. 

Outside of work, Kyle’s life is anchored by faith, family, curiosity, and creativity. He lives in Summerville with his wife, Megan, and their son, Hayden, and the family loves to travel—especially to Disney. A lifelong learner, Kyle is an avid reader and a devoted fan of the Dune series, long before it returned to the spotlight. He also enjoys playing guitar and has a rich background in public speaking, having addressed audiences of more than 5,000 people. His experiences, from briefly living in Acapulco to building and selling a company from the ground up, shape a worldview full of perspective, gratitude, and drive. 

As a financial professional, Kyle’s mission is clear: to help business owners and families create financial strategies they understand, feel confident in, and are excited to pursue. Drawing from his own journey—from a humble upbringing to becoming a successful entrepreneur—he brings empathy, work ethic, and real‑world experience to every client relationship. Kyle specializes in serving business owners, particularly those in the trades and landscaping industries, who may be overwhelmed by growth and unsure how to help protect or one day exit the companies they’ve built. His long‑term goal is to be the go‑to financial professional for small business owners across the Lowcountry as he remains deeply connected to the community he serves.
