Josh DeLong

Josh DeLong, originally from Asheville, North Carolina, brings a unique blend of analytical insight and creative thinking to his role as a financial professional. A University of Kentucky graduate in Marketing and International Business, Josh began his career in digital marketing, managing campaigns for Townsquare Interactive. Seeking a more direct impact on people’s lives, he transitioned into financial services, gaining experience with New York Life and NYLife Securities.

Josh joined Consolidated Planning to grow as a financial professional in an environment that values collaboration, learning, and client-focused service. He works with established business owners—especially in wedding/event planning, tree removal, and roofing—helping them optimize their finances and build long-term strategies for life and legacy.

Outside of work, Josh is a passionate musician, performing in both a classic rock band and a folk/bluegrass duo, and enjoys traveling to explore new cultures. Having lost his father at a young age, he brings empathy and dedication to helping clients navigate both the financial and emotional complexities of life.
