Jimmy Cox

Born in Delaware and raised in Michigan, Jimmy’s journey to the financial industry was unconventional, starting with six years of service in the US Army as a Military Police Officer. Following his military service, Jimmy transitioned to civilian public service, gaining experience in private security and law enforcement support.

His path eventually led him to the financial sector, where he spent five years at Wells Fargo, holding various roles from teller to Branch Manager. However, Jimmy’s passion for making a meaningful impact on his clients’ financial well-being motivated him to transition to Consolidated Planning.

Jimmy’s decision to join the firm was fueled by witnessing the positive outcomes of a quality financial plan firsthand as a Consolidated Planning client himself.

His mission is to be a trusted asset to his clients–guiding them through education and personalized planning, always leading with transparency, and prioritizing their best interests. Jimmy’s long-term goals include assisting over 125 families and businesses in achieving their financial goals, establishing his own wealth management firm, and becoming a champion for financial literacy within the veteran community.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Jimmy enjoys playing golf, riding his motorcycle, and passionately supporting his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins. A devoted family man, he cherishes spending time with his two children, Kylie (11) and Colton (9).
