Alex Vaughn

Alex Vaughn is a dedicated financial advisor rooted in a strong foundation of education, service, and personal connection. Originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Alex now calls Fort Mill, South Carolina home. He earned his degree in Music Education from Western Carolina University and began his professional journey as a high school band director. In the classroom, he developed a passion for guiding and supporting others, an experience that continues to shape his approach today. After transitioning into financial services, Alex gained valuable experience as a Financial Services Consultant and later as a Financial Advisor. Drawn to a firm that prioritizes thoughtful planning and meaningful relationships, he ultimately found his professional home at CP.  

Alex’s work as a financial advisor is deeply influenced by his background as an educator and his commitment to serving others. He focuses on working with individuals and families who value trust, guidance, and a long-term planning mindset. His ideal clients are those who are open to the planning process and share a desire to build a stable financial future. Alex brings a unique perspective to his role, combining firsthand insight into the challenges faced by public servants with a genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals. Guided by his faith, he strives to place service, integrity, and purpose at the center of every client relationship. With his CRPC® designation, and in pursuit of the CFP® certification, Alex is committed to continually growing in knowledge so he can better serve those who trust him with their financial futures.  

Outside of the office, Alex finds his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He and his wife share a meaningful history, having met while participating in the marching band during their college years, a connection that continues to be a special part of their story. Alex is an active member of First Baptist Church Fort Mill, where his faith and community involvement play an important role in his life. Whether he’s enjoying a favorite movie like Forrest Gump or simply making memories with his children, Alex values the moments that bring people together. At the heart of everything he does, both personally and professionally, is a desire to make a positive, lasting impact on the lives of others.
