Michael H. Watts was born in Taylorsville, North Carolina, grew up in Asheville, and graduated from Mars Hill College with a degree in Business Administration in 1973. Moving to Greenville, South Carolina in October of 1973, he went to work for Reed and Associates immediately entering the world of financial services.

The year 1987 presented Mr. Watts with a new life with his lovely wife of 25 years, Sally Wise, and a new position with Consolidated Planning, Inc. which he still holds to this day. In fact, in the late 1990's, he was given the title of Senior Vice President as affirmation of his years of service to the company and his clients. During that time, he also became a Investment Advisor Representative through Park Avenue Securities. Mr. Watt's practice is aimed towards helping business owners and executives.

As a Financial Advisor, Mr. Watts takes pride in the fact that through his many years of experience he has developed the knowledge to look at a complicated financial situation and be able to quickly identify what needs to be done next to achieve a client's goals. He looks narrow and deep and in order to accomplish this "process", and has developed a team of players to handle each intricate detail of the process while he oversees the big picture.
