Courtenay joined Consolidated Planning in mid-2008 after a successful career in the commercial and investment banking fields. He is a native of Concord, NC and a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. He was introduced to the planning process as a prospective client and has personally experienced the value proposition that Consolidated brings to our clients.

This planning process involves analyzing clients’ current financial position to assess their protection plans and then making strategic recommendations based on each client's unique goals, or wish list, and their current situation. As a result of our planning, clients are able to enjoy improved financial efficiency with higher cash flow, more secure plans for asset accumulation during their careers, higher income in retirement, and ultimately the transfer of wealth to those closest to them.
Courtenay is fully licensed to provide a complete range of investment and insurance solutions. He holds Series 7, 52, and 66 securities registrations and is also licensed to provide life , disability and long term care insurance. He has appointments in multiple states to conduct both investment and insurance business. He is working toward his Chartered Financial Consultant® designation.
Courtenay and his wife Amelia have three children. They are active in their church and Courtenay is a Scoutmaster for the BSA troop there.
