HISTORY
Rick Dobson serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Consolidated Planning, Inc. When he founded the firm in August 1981, he had a vision of providing total comprehensive planning for individuals, executives, and business owners. He recognized that most people had 4 to 5 different advisor relationships, all operating independent of each other, with very little coordination.
The bottom line, very few people had an organized, comprehensive plan focused on achieving their "wish list", while eliminating the dangers and concerns which could jeopardize their financial success. From the very beginning. Consolidated Planning was structured to provide a comprehensive, consolidated plan for clients, coupled with a high level of ongoing client service, making sure their plan stayed up to date with the changes which occurred throughout their lifetime. The firm has grown from a scratch operation with 4 people in 1981 to over 100 people today, with 14 offices in North and South Carolina, serving over 25,000 clients.
As CP moves into the future, we are well positioned for continued success, with a talented team of associates, staff, and advisors - headed up by our president - Andy Brincefield, CLU, ChFC, CFP.
