Genie and Jerry focus their experience to help business owners and individuals identify what they value most in life, what they want their legacy to be, and help them plan a lifetime of prosperity by protecting their values and lifestyle.
Genie has been in the financial services profession for over 30 years. In the 1980’s she was the first woman in North Carolina to receive the prestigious CLU® and ChFC® designations. She is a Registered Investment Advisor and has her General Securities License. She is a life qualifying member of PACE (Professional Achievement in Continuing Education).
Genie became a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable in 1989 and throughout her career has qualified for multiple industry awards.
Genie is a Guardian ad Litem in Mecklenburg County and is active in her church in Denver, Unity Presbyterian.
Jerry owned and operated one of the Southeast largest motion picture theatre companies for over 30 years with locations in NC, SC and VA. His vision in the 70’s to add game rooms to movie theatres lead to the establishment of “The Queen Park”, the first in the southeast. Its marquee remains a landmark today in South End on South Blvd.
He was President of the Theatre Owners Association of NC and SC and a member of many state and national theatre Boards. He coached Pop Warner football, Little League Baseball and YMCA basketball for many years. Jerry is also a licensed real estate Broker.
In 2004 after the sale of his company, they felt with Jerry’s keen understanding of the importance of a strong Balance Sheet and Cash Flow and Genie’s experience in financial services, they would make a great team to service clients for all of life’s challenges.
Genie and Jerry live on Lake Norman and have three wonderful grown children and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.
