Chris entered the financial services industry in 1983 with the Aetna Life Insurance Company focusing on Estate and Business Succession planning. In 2006, Chris joined Consolidated Planning with the desire to provide clarity, confidence and control in his clients’ financial worlds through the use of comprehensive financial strategies.

Chris studied Risk Management while attending Appalachian State University and received his BA from Catawba College. He has continued his financial services education by receiving his Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant® professional designations from the American College and is also a Fellow of the Life Underwriter Training Council.

Chris has been an active member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors since 1983 and was President of NAIFA-North Carolina in 1995-1996. In 2004, Chris was named NAIFA-NC Advisor of the Year, the highest honor of the state association, for his achievements within the association, as well as his service to his community and profession.

Chris is a native of Lexington, NC and has three daughters, Kacie, Erinn and Madison. He is a member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington and enjoys singing in the choir. An avid outdoorsman, Chris is also an accomplished photographer and when not behind the lens, enjoys an occasional game of golf or tennis.
